Bret Gavin McGaughey

Bret was admitted to the California State Bar in 2021 and gained experience representing large developers and individual investors alike in a variety of commercial real estate ventures in the retail and commercial shopping center spaces.

Since joining Sternshein Legal Group in the fall of 2025, Bret represents our Clients in a variety of real estate-related matters including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing transactions.

In his free time, Bret enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, his church rec softball league, heading to the beach, and playing golf – although not quite at the same level as during his undergraduate days on the Villanova Golf Team.
