Jennifer M. Sternshein, Esq.

Jennifer is a practical and creative problem-solver focused on getting deals done. She counsels owners and operators of skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, hospice, and seniors housing companies in transactional and general corporate matters. Jennifer strives to be approachable, open, and matter-of-fact. She’ll make sure you understand your options and get your questions answered.

Jennifer helps clients navigate complex transactions, structural challenges, long-term growth goals, financing and regulatory matters. She has built an extensive licensing, certification, and regulatory compliance practice specifically to assist clients with CHOWs, Medicaid and Medicare provider enrollment, initial certification, re-validations, and re-certifications. Jennifer also represents owners and operators of senior housing facilities with accusations and license revocation actions brought by the California Department of Social Services.

Jennifer is passionate about leading deal teams and bringing out the best in people while crafting transactions (large and small) to help clients reach their business goals.

Jennifer is an active member of the CAHF Legal Subcommittee, and regularly attends the eCap, NIC and ASHA conferences. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Jennifer is the Chair of the OCSA Foundation and a board member for South Coast Repertory, and is involved in many other charitable organizations.

When she isn’t practicing law, Jennifer can be found farming on her organic farm, The Stardust Grove, on the Central Coast of California.
